Charnley Road
As a result of the sale of a small section of land
at Charnley Road in Stafford for affordable homes the existing changing rooms
required removal and replacement.
I was responsible for the project, securing planning permission, (to
replace the old two team changing facility with a new four team changing
facility) and new utility services. A 60 space car park and associated
landscaping was also completed to service the facility.
This was a significant upgrade to the site and the
three associated football pitches.
Following installation I liaised and contracted the
water and electricity companies to install new services to the buildings.
The project was funded by Section 106 contributions and Council capital funding
Project outcomes;
- Removal of old two team changing room.
- Installation on new 4 team changing facilities,
Equality Act compliant.
- New water, power and drainage connections.
- New 60 space car park and perimeter planting.
- Resurfaced tarmac spine path..
- Securing of further Section 106 funding from
adjacent MOD Stafford to upgrade the playground.
