Throughout may career I have been
involved with the English Planning system and process.
My involvement began whilst at
East Staffordshire Borough Council where I was required to provide feedback on
projects delivered as a result of planning gain. This developed further through
my career where I was responsible for the providing formal feedback and advise
on planning conditions for applications which would impact upon open space,
parks, trees and footpaths. Finally this developed into direct
negotiation with developers to secure both onsite and off site improvements and
changes to planning layouts.
Through this process I have
managed to secure over £2 million in planning contributions to open space.
